Join us and Friends of the Chicago River for their annual Chicago River Day volunteer cleanup event! Thousands of community members, families, and companies work in and along the 156-mile Chicago-Calumet River system at over 75 locations throughout the city and suburbs.

About the event
The workday will start at 9:00 AM and end at 12:00 PM. Volunteers are encouraged to participate the entire time, but we'll take all help we can get! Stay as long as you're able. After the event, volunteers are welcome to join together to swap stories and celebrate their hard work at after parties at Blue Island Beer Company and Burning Bush Brewery.
